PROUD OF OUR GREEN FARMERS is an art project by Arnout van der Heijden.

In the Netherlands, the nitrogen emissions crisis give rise to discussion and protest. In this protest the slogan ‘TROTS OP ONZE BOEREN’ (‘PROUD OF OUR FARMERS’) is often used.

By reframing this slogan into PROUD OF OUR GREEN FARMERS, we show that we are proud of those who farm in sympathy with the environment and have a concern for the long term health of our planet.

I am asking people to write down the slogan PROUD OF OUR GREEN FARMERS in their own language/dialect and sign it with their name and residence. These contributions will be incorporated into installations and performances.

In Nederland leidt de stikstofcrisis tot discussie en protest. Bij dit protest wordt de leus ‘TROTS OP ONZE BOEREN’ gebruikt.

Wíj zijn vooral trots op onze duurzame boerenbedrijven. We reframen de leus tot TROTS OP ONZE GROENE BOEREN. Zo laten wij zien dat we trots zijn op hen die op een evenwichtige manier landbouw bedrijven en zich inzetten voor herstel van landschap, natuur, biodiversiteit en klimaat.

DOE MEE!
